The Deputy National President Seaport of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, NAGAFF, and the Managing Director, International Supply Chain Systems Limited,  Chief Afam Chukwuma  has charged the newly constituted management team of the Nigeria Customs Service NCS, to come up with ideas that will facilitate trade in the ports and borders of the nation.

In his congratulatory message to the management team made available to journalists, Chukwuma says the business community expect much from the service especially as it concerns effective trade facilitation. 

"It is important to remember that the business community looks to you for support and guidance, and it is essential that you put their needs first. By working closely with other government agencies and stakeholders, you can ensure that trade is conducted smoothly and effectively.

"In addition, it is also important to be aware of the constant changes in global trade, such as new tariffs and regulations, and to be able to adapt and respond accordingly.

"As you begin your new roles, 
we wish you all the best and look forward to seeing the positive impact that your leadership and dedication will have on the country's trade." He said.


He added that there will be a collaboration between association and  NCS  so as to promote trade facilitation.
