Oyo/Osun Customs: Comptroller Oramalugo Visits Olubadan of Ibadan

The Customs Area Controller Oyo/Osun Command Comptroller Ben Oramalugo PHD FCIA FNIM, has paid his first courtesy visit to His Imperial Majesty Oba (DR) Senator Mohood Olalekan Ishola Balogun at the palace of Olubadan in Oyo State.

In a press release signed the Public Relations Officer, Oyo/Osun Area Command, SC K Wey, Comptroller Oramalugo appreciated the Almighty for such a day and also extended the greetings of the Ag. Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR,dsm fnipr psc(+)  to His  Imperial Majesty. 

He highlighted the core mandates of the Nigeria Customs Service as Trade Facilitation, Revenue Generation and Suppression of Smuggling and  he assured His Imperial Majesty, that he was going to uphold while performing his duties. 

Furthermore, he solicited for further cooperation and a peaceful working environment for his Officers to perform their duties as he added that it would eliminate any form of conflict between citizens of the State and Officers and Men of the service working within the state. 

Finally, he gave a brief history of the city of Ibadan and its importance to the Yoruba land, as he thanked His Imperial Majesty for the opportunity given to visit his palace. 
In his response, His Imperial Majesty Oba DR. Senator Mohood Olalekan Ishola Balogun the Olubadan of Ibadan Land assured the Area Controller of further cooperation with the Command and Service in general, as he added that he runs an open door policy.

Oba Ishola Balogun made references to incidents that happened in the past between the Nigeria Customs Service and the citizens of Oyo State, as he reiterated that he is a man that as always preached peace and would appreciate if conflicts between the Officers and Men of the Service and citizens of the State are completely eliminated. 

His Imperial Majesty highlighted the already existing relationship between the Palace and the Customs Command within the state, as he assured the Customs Area Controller of further collaboration.

 Finally, His Imperial Majesty prayed for a successful tour of duty for the Customs Area Controller as he thanked him for paying his first courtesy visit to his Palace.
