MWUN SAYS NIMASA CONSTITUTES COMMITTEE FOR DOCKWORKERS CBA

Maritime Worker's Union of Nigeria, MWUN, has announced the constitution of NJIC committee by the Nigerian Maritime Administration  and Safety Agency, NIMASA, through its Executive Director on Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services , Mr. Jibril Abba, on the Dockworkers Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for the year 2023/2024.

MWUN disclosed in a press release issued by the Head, Media, MWUN, Comrade Kennedy Ikemefuna, started the meeting was held on Monday, 29th April, 2024 at NIMASA Corporate Headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The President -General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, MWUN,  Dr. Adewale Adeyanju, fnli,who was present at the meeting thanked the  NIMASA DG, Dr. Dayo Mobereola for the gesture. 

Dr. Adeyanju said the NJIC committee on the Dockworkers Branch of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, MWUN, is expected to do a thorough work on the new CBA.
