The Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has held a strategic stakeholders' meeting aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) and the governorship ambition of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
The meeting brought together party leaders and stakeholders to discuss strategies for expanding grassroots support ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Speaking at the meeting, the General Coordinator of Onigbongbo LCDA, Mr. Akinwolere Olusola, said a major item on the agenda was the growing relevance of The Action Grassroots Alliance (TAG Alliance) in driving political participation at the grassroots.

He noted that the group must play a vital role in mobilising supporters, encouraging voter participation, and strengthening the campaign structure in support of President Tinubu and Dr. Hamzat across the LCDA.
Olusola also emphasised the importance of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise and the transfer of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). He urged all eligible residents to register or transfer their voter registration to their current locations to enable them to participate fully in the electoral process.

He further stressed the need for sustained voter education and community engagement to increase awareness of the exercise, encouraging members to intensify mobilisation efforts across wards and polling units to ensure that no eligible voter is left behind.

He added that the mobilisation drive should be all-inclusive, stressing that every ethnic group has an important role to play in the electoral process. According to him, no tribe should be excluded, as broad-based participation remains essential to achieving a successful campaign and strengthening democratic participation within the LCDA.
