Chairman of Harmony Garden & Estate Development Limited Saheed Mosadoluwa has alleged that the former Governorship Candidate in Lagos, Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi, has it through a petition dated September 7, 2022 planned to jail him and his Ex-Wife Sade Balogun amongst others over the Estate
This allegation is coming as Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Abuja, Olumuyiwa Adejobi in a
statement made available to our Correspondent said that the duo of Mosadoluwa and his ex-wife Balogun are to be prosecuted by Lagos State government.
According to the embittered Estate Developer, "the officer handling the case has confessed is allegedly being obstructed in the personal capacity of the Police Public Relations Officer.
He however disclosed that a telephone conversation by Gbadamosi had for long unveiled their hidden agenda alleging that the latter has complete Police brief on the case, even while the police I.P.0 is still investigating.
Recalled that Nigeria Police Force on September 7, this year through Force Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi made public the outcome of the concluded investigations into a petition against the owners of Harmony Gardens and Estate Development Limited and Amen Estate, Saheed Abdullahi Mosadoluwa (aka Ibile) and Ms. Sade Balogun respectively.
According to him, the result of the investigations shows clearly that the Police carried out a laudable investigation worthy of commendation in the absence of sentiments and the duo are to be prosecuted by the Lagos State Government contrary to the news making the rounds.
The case commenced through a petition by one Adeyinka Igbinoba, dated 21st March, 2022, received at the office of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, fdc, and endorsed to the IGP Monitoring Unit to investigate.
The petitioner claimed that her sisters, Barrister Bunmi Okoror and Abiodun Abdul, requested for a refund of an initial deposit of 30 million Naira made to one Saheed Abdullahi Mosadoluwa (aka Ibile) in respect of some parcels of land in Lekki, Lagos, claiming that the issued Certificate of Occupancy was fake and they subsequently reported the matter to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
In the course of the back and forth to recover the said sum of money, the petitioner, Adeyinka Igbinoba, with her siblings Bunmi Okoror and Abiodun Abdul, and their mother, Mrs. Abdul Beckely along with their driver attended a scheduled meeting in the office of Mr. Saheed at Landbook Office, Eleganza Plaza, Opposite Ikole Complex, Ajah, Lagos,
According to the petitioner Gbadamosi had clearly emphasized that he would only refund the paid sum in full when they withdraw the case from the EFCC.
